Dia 349

When I first heard this song, I remember thinking "wow, it's so suffocating, so psychotic, desperately stalker-like"... It seemed to have been written by a psycho killer in a madhouse. But then Sting sang it so delicately that I soon forgot these impressions. Many years later, however - and when I say many years, I do mean it - I finally had the chance to hear this song exactly the same way I'd always pictured it. It's time to show you this masterpiece - because after all, "I'll be watching you" sounds quite creepy, doesn't it?

Dia 348

Gente, vídeo à parte (porque é muito ruim MESMO), olha que música sensacional dos Mutantes! Hey boy!

Dia 347

Everything good needs replacing. (Satellite, Dave Matthews Band)

Nothing else in the lyrics makes sense to me, but this one bit... I'm still thinking about it, and imagining that it may be the discovery of the century: the greatest flaw of human beings - the eternal dissatisfaction I mean, not the ability to write lousy lyrics ;) The song is beautiful, though...

Dia 346

And the wind it tore through the atmosphere
And the air it filled with dust

Searching for a connection within every direction
Some places I’ve already been
And no, lost love, loneliness

too many things have changed
And no, I just don’t look at things the same way now

Since we parted ways

Out in the space, I’m a long way from home
The hum of the wheels, they are carrying me on

to a wild space to be breathin',
Oh I need it, a wild place to be breathin'

And the sun went down in this little ghost town
Near the valley of the rio grand
I need a little bit of whiskey and a little bit of time
To ease my troubled mind

And no, lost love, loneliness
too many things have changed
And no, I just don’t look at things the same way now

Since we parted ways

Out in the space, I’m a long way from home
The hum of the wheels, they are carrying me on

to a wild space to be breathin',
Oh I need it, a wild space to be breathin'...
